I found photography a few years ago when my wife reminded me we should get a nice camera to take photos of our children. Since the first shutter click I was generally hooked. I have been shooting ever since, constantly trying to improve. I'm a technical person by nature and learning how the various settings of a camera affected an image was immensely captivating. The more I shot the more comfortable I became with those settings and I started to learn the kinds of images that I found the most interest. I love to shoot just about anything but landscapes and sports tend to satisfy me the most. There's nothing quite like capturing amazing light or an athlete in that split second moment. I also learned that I really loved the little in between moments where the action has stopped, but the relationships and camaraderie between athletes unfolded.
